@Raamana_ @OHBM @laurenatlas I'd be really surprised if people skipped OHBM because club night went away. Still other parties, the Welcome Reception and the coffee/wine during the poster sessions (I'd guess both are far more price than club night). Just a curious how removing it would impact cost.

I've been a strong proponent of reducing expenses and costs for our members for many years now, but I think some elements are essential for a conference: coffee and socials. OHBM is special in that sense, and friendly after-work meetups help with retention and attracting new members! Hence, an important alternate question to be asked: how much revenue (recurring) would we lose if the core attendance and new attendance dropped by 5-20% over 5 years? :) I am totally okay with not offering free drink coupons.

Is Club Night an important part of OHBM Annual Meetings?

@TheBloggess The audiobook for Nothing to See Here (Kevin Wilson) was pretty great. Such a fun/silly story and the narrator has a great Southern accent and I think she adds a lot to the story with her delivery.

I'm unsure how one can strongly conclude this for all voxels in the brain. The model we propose does both with the idea that the RT-based signal requires special expertise to properly interpret.
