@OsmanSamiuddin How we still miss the whip of that arm even 23 years after his retirement. Pakistan cricket is nothing more than nostalgia associated with someone dead and we just comfort ourselves by watching yorkers of Wasim/Waqar, drives of Saeed Anwar, pace of Akhtar and so on.

@jyotiTpandey05 Dating to brag in front of others was never cool. These traits were previously more common amongst men which was completely wrong. But women now think following men on sth as shit as this will make them cool & feel empowered/free.

Watched Kiara Advani on Raj Shamani’s podcast. She said she would raise her daughter to have a mind of her own that she could date ten people and still choose not to marry anyone. New-age parents often try to label every unconventional idea as “good parenting.” But why is dating multiple people and never marrying automatically considered progressive or cool?

@TheXMatriarch I wish women knew better that sex is the only way they can connect emotionally with their husbands. However, these days when women are told this they tend to react negatively and imply as if they are considered sex objects.

Sex is the ONE THING that separates the relationship you have with your wife/girlfriend and the relationship you have with a coworker of the opposite sex or your best friend. Sex is literally what makes your relationship different. It’s what makes it special. And it’s the glue that holds it all together! When a couple has a strong sexual relationship, they’re more united across the board. They parent kids better. They coordinate schedules better. They compromise on points of disagreement better. They have more fun outside the bedroom because they know how to connect and have fun inside the bedroom!!! It’s that important!

I genuinely struggle to see what his fault is in all this. A lot of the criticism seems rooted in the fact that he is related to a former cricketer because in Pakistan no matter how well you perform, people are quick to label it as nepotism. Shadab Khan was the second best spinner in PSL 2026 and one of the standout all-rounders of the tournament. Just two years ago, he not only won the PSL but was also player of the tournament. People often argue, “What’s the point if it doesn’t translate to internationals?” But there are several players with similar profiles (strong in PSL, average in T20Is) who are still celebrated. Babar, Shadab, Usman, Fakhar, Hasan Nawaz, Abdullah, Faheem and Iftikhar etc often perform well in PSL but haven’t consistently replicated that success in T20Is. The easy conclusion is to say there is a big gap between PSL and international cricket. That’s true. But another big factor, one that doesn’t get discussed enough, is that many of these players are used very differently in franchise cricket compared to international setups, which impacts their output.

This guy was top 2 most loved pak cricketers in between 2017-2020, can’t believe he is at this level now with all the potential he had. Sad

Not a good idea by any stretch of imagination. If the Proteas were struggling to find someone good in the MO, then it would have made little sense. Why should the Country call first when they already have Stubbs, Breetzke, and a few other very capable guys to do the job at home. Cricket shouldn't go back running to those who Turned away from it in the first place.
Kevin Pietersen🦏@KP24

South Africa have never won a cricket world cup! There should be a phone call this morning, from the South African cricket board, to Heinrich Klaasen, to ask him if he can rejoin international cricket and be a central figure in their campaign to try and win their first ever world cup which will be in South Africa next year.

Yesterday, former chief selector Mohd Wasim said "I know this captain. They'll never take Vince out and play Haris". He was wrong. Mike Hesson said "Babar can't make use of the powerplay". He was wrong. The entire cricketing fraternity said Babar was done. They were so, so wrong

Course, it doesn't fit Pietersen's silly little agenda but Bethell wouldn't have played in Derby because Derbyshire are in Division 2. However, Bethell would have played against, in April alone, Surrey and Sussex attacks featuring several internationals and highly rated... 1/3

To understand the situation with and around Imran Khan, repeat this after me: The elites, the military establishment, and the political class are not angry at what Khan did in power. They are angry at what he refused to do. He refused to serve them. Pakistan is not experiencing a political crisis. It is experiencing a class war. The ruling order, the generals, the political dynasties, the landlord families, and the bureaucratic layer that services them all, has operated for decades on a single, unspoken arrangement that whoever reaches the top serves the top. Khan broke that arrangement. He looked at the common Pakistani and chose them instead. That is his actual crime. The imprisonment, the stacked charges, the media blackout, the dismantling of his party, none of it was ever about Imran Khan. He is in the way, yes, but he is not the point. The point is you. The Pakistani citizen who voted, who believed, who filled the streets. The target has always been your political will, your capacity to organise, your stubborn conviction that power could be made to answer to you. Khan is not being punished for what he did. He is being made an example of for what you did, you chose him, and they need you to understand what choosing wrong costs. The message is as old as every ruling class that has ever existed, that is to know your place, or watch what happens to the person you dared to trust. Khan stood up for you, it is time for you to stand up for him. They can jail the man. They cannot jail the ideology. Imran Khan Hamesha Zindabad.

@SamaraAfzal @BBCWorld Accountability? Our politicians & institutions are above any kind of accountability. In theory accountability is driven by public, judiciary and media. Our politicians have pushed them all aside. They are only accountable to someone who is only interested in diplomacy these days.

Yeah you can say, Haris doesn't use his brain that much while batting, but he's perfect for the modern cricket that Pakistan needs - Among all the wicket keeper batters he has strong case for that Spot

No improvement in Mohammad Haris’s game since debut. Plays high-risk shots without consistent execution. Every now and then it comes off and creates hype, but for someone PCB has invested in so heavily, he’s arguably been most frustrating player to watch.
