Muni University’s Third University Council, chaired by Eng. Joel Aitah, marked a significant milestone with the successful conclusion of its tenure, which was defined by strategic leadership and transformative institutional growth.

END OF TOUR OF DUTY — 3RD MUNI UNIVERSITY COUNCIL Today marks the conclusion of my four-year tenure as Chairperson of the 3rd Muni University Council. It has been a deeply rewarding period of learning and working alongside some of the finest minds in our country. Our Performance Assessment recorded an achievement rate of 86.7% — a result I credit entirely to the strong collaboration between Council and University Management. Over this period, we are proud to have: •Grown student enrolment from 600 to over 3,100 •Expanded academic programmes from 13 to 34, with 20 more awaiting approval •Increased staff with PhDs from 27 to 50, and Professors from 6 to 13 •Doubled the University’s budget from 30B to 70B. I am pleased to share that the Honourable Minister of Education and Sports has reappointed me to the 4th Council, and I look forward to continuing this journey with the exceptional team at Muni University.
