Today I$rael tried to kill me in a targeted airstrike in southern Lebanon as I was reporting on was the targeting of bridges and the forced displacement of 1 million people, an ethnic cleansing operation on a larger scale than the Nakba I have absolutely no doubt that this was deliberate. Despite claims there were no warnings ahead of the strike and no notifications sent to the Lebanese Army who allowed us to film As we have seen in Gaza they want to silence journalists who document and report their war crimes It is the western powers who provide political and military support for I$rael, arming it to the teeth to carry out genocide in Gaza and ethnic cleansing here in Lebanon. They are not simply complicit, but active participants and should be held accountable for their actions. But if I$rael thinks today’s strike will silence us and keep us out of the field they are very, very mistaken

Medicine in Northern Canada is a completely different beast. I thought it was wild to cross a closed ice road in a truck to get to a nursing station to awake intubate a patient who was too sick for ORNGE to tube so that they could be medivaced... No one here batted an eye. #ont

@raghu_venugopal I have often said start working up these patients on EMS stretchers and have been told these are not assigned to the ED yet. But medicolegally they are assigned to the hospital. So confusing !

My elderly patient is 8 hours and counting on an EMS stretcher - no labs, no imaging, no transfer - just an orange bed sheet and a paralyzed paramedic crew. I ask first ministers to imagine if this was your parent how would you feel about this unacceptable situation.

Another night in the ER. Another Pediatric and Geriatric unit. This time in a small rural community hospital which isn’t supposed to be this busy. The very young and the very old have a tough few months ahead.

Strange times ❗️ Worried parents of fevered little ones coming to see me in the ER for Tylenol 🤷🏿‍♂️ ☑️After searching multiple drug stores. ☑️For an ⬆️number of respiratory bugs, RSV, influenza and of course BQ11. Happy 😃 to help with Tylenol but wish they could get it 😟

This was an epic drive through regions only heard of on the news. War, destruction, torture, hate, & human violence are real occurrences in military history. But Fallujah looked alive again :) Lucky to be amongst those who have not witnessed events like this. #Arbaeen2022
