Kenya Air Force personnel led by Deputy Commander Laikipia Air Base, Colonel Mohamud Farah, today participated in a tree planting exercise at the Laikipia Air Base. Tree planting is part of KDF’s Environmental Soldier Programme established in 2003 to protect the environment.

Soldiers from 66 Artillery Battalion and 120 Mortar Battery planted more than 200 trees within Gilgil Garisson as part of KDF's Environmental Soldier Programme. The effort is aimed at protecting the environment from degradation.
