Bro, listen carefully because you clearly don’t understand how crypto debit cards work (Kraken Card, Crypto.com, Binance Card – all the same):If you have only Pi on the card (or only dollars/yen) and you’ve set it as the top in the Spend Order, then when you swipe in a store that accepts only euros:Kraken instantly sells exactly the amount of Pi needed for that purchase (at the current rate). Your Pi balance drops by 63.32 PI (like in the screenshot). Mastercard sends euros to the merchant. You spent Pi. Full stop.The store always receives euros because that’s how the entire card system (Visa/Mastercard) works – merchants don’t accept crypto at the till, they get fiat. This has been the standard for 5+ years.Now about your genius vegetable analogy: ‘Selling vegetables to your neighbor for euros and then buying food’ – that would be if you manually sold your Pi on the exchange, transferred euros to your account, and then paid. But here there is no such step. The card is directly linked to your Pi wallet. Your vegetables (Pi) are automatically converted into euros at checkout without you lifting a finger. That means you paid with vegetables.If it’s still not clear, go ask Kraken support – they literally say: ‘We convert your assets to your primary currency when you spend.’ And you paid for that primary currency (EUR) with your Pi.So stop being pedantic and admit it: this is actually spending Pi in the real world. @Michael52164548 @naff1234 Yes, I paid with Pi because I only have Pi on my card, and the store accepted the payment in euros, of course. I didn't mention anywhere that the store accepts Pi, but rather a Mastercard with Pi on it.
