Why do Kikuyus want us Merus to support and vote for Gachagua, yet they won't reciprocate by supporting and voting for Kindiki? Why must we always play second fiddle?

@CPA_Soft @davidmakali1 @rigathi Trust me, he's just one voice, but I'm certain many of the issues he raises resonate with people across different parts of Kenya. The challenge is that the political class and their gatekeepers are trying to push a particular narrative, but it's one that is dead on arrival.

Some of the things @rigathi says are plainly irrational. Such as asking investors to stay away from the country until the Ruto system goes. So what does that do to the economy? Or calling those who don't support his DCP traitors. Respect their rights and freedom of choice too.

@bakhita_esther Just curious: while there, did you take time to ask about abductions, corruption, disregard for rule of law, enforced disappearances, voter bribery, abuse of office, erosion of institutional independence, and other governance failures associated with the guys you support?

I've lived in the Western world, not just visited, so I know how important infrastructure is for development. That's why I support President Ruto. You may not see his vision now, but time will tell.

@bakhita_esther Abductions, goonism, voter bribery, corruption, violence, intimidation, suppression of alternative voices, the capture of independent institutions, a lack of transparency and respect for the rule of law, and economic sabotage are the hallmarks we associate with bread-based.

Kikuyus are now selling their votes for 3 million each, proving it is no longer about good leadership, but rather about handouts and bribery. This takes us backward. We need to vote based on a leader's track record, not on bribes.

We voted for President Ruto as the Central Kenya bloc, Kikuyus, Meru, and the Mbeere. A Kikuyu, Rigathi Gachagua, served as Deputy President for two years, and we never complained. Now it's Kindiki's turn, but some simply can't stomach that reality.

@Dennis_Itumbi02 The KK administration has done more damage to the economy only comparable to 2007/2008 and Moi era. The amount of theft, pilferage and mismanagement of public funds happening is child play. It will take Kenya ages to recover. Spare us the noise and side shows.

There is a troubling new brand of politics taking root in the Mountain. Intimidation, threats and fear. Last night, I had to help evacuate TWENTY UDA mobilizers from Rurii, Ol Kalou. They were so shaken that their only request was to spend the night at a police station, believing it was the only place they would be safe. I have since arranged and paid for hotel accommodation for them, where they remain as they await calm. This is not who we are. No Kenyan should live in fear because of their political beliefs. Democracy thrives on persuasion, not intimidation, on ideas, not threats. I urge the Police Service to move swiftly against those instigating violence, issuing threats, or terrorizing fellow citizens. The law must protect every Kenyan equally. Elections should never turn neighbours into enemies. We can compete fiercely at the ballot, shake hands afterwards, and continue building our communities together. Hii siasa ya vitisho na kuuza uoga tuachane nayo. We beat Jofri in other by-elections we embraced those who lost, why should anyone be chased because they disagreed and lost on the ballot? Apana.

The Kikuyu are good people who elected President Ruto. Stop trying to brainwash them and divide Kenyans with hatred. Anyone who separates Kenyans is not a true leader.

@RodgersKipembe Her actions appear to be driven more by greed and self-interest than by a genuine desire to serve & impact. It is a stark departure from what true leadership should embody; service, integrity, and a commitment to making a positive impact. We lost our conscience, we lost our soul.

Unlike many Gen Z activists who remain on the sidelines, Alionya chose a side, joined a political party, and has dedicated her time, energy, and talent to building it. As a woman with that level of commitment, securing a nomination in the next election should be well within reach.

POLITE REMINDER 🎗️ Kibaki borrowed trillions to build the Thika Super Highway connecting to the Mt Kenya region. Uhuru borrowed trillions to build 2000 Kms roads within GEMA. What's wrong with Ruto connecting the neglected parts of Kenya? Ruto doesn't belong to any tribe but God-sent redeemer.
