Two vials contained the hantavirus (spread by rodents, with a 38% fatality rate), and 223 vials contained the lyssavirus (rabies virus, with an almost 100% fatality rate). The most likely cause of the "disappearance" is thought to be the loss of containers during transfer to a new freezer. The Ministry of Health is conducting an investigation.

Finally got time to go through this significant data from the Bureau of Economic Analysis (BEA). The US national debt has now surpassed the size of its economy - not a bombshell generally but for the US, this IS a historic threshold that hasn't been crossed since the conclusion of World War II. Lawmakers are calling for an urgent change in course but Trump has consistently said the US economy is "on fire" and "doing great." 🙁
