This is quite possibly the most overrated album of all time. Wonderful production and innovative for 1966 but with extremely Mediocre songs that totally didn’t age well at all ! Opinions ?

@Whitey777_ It just seems unnecessary, he could promote his band without dismissing others he's worked with. But to praise Day & Cobrin on a V&I anniversary post and not even mention the musicians involved and even claim the album would be better with them instead, nah, doesn't sit right.

I've got a lot of time for Alain, obviously, but this kind of thing comes across as incredibly disrespectful to Jonny Bridgwood and Woodie Taylor—the musicians who actually played on "Vauxhall and I", and did so flawlessly.
