Utd were missing Maguire, De Ligt, Mazraoui, Mainoo, Casemiro, Fernandes (2nd half), Mbeumo, Amad, Sesko with his first start in months, Martinez hasn’t started a game since last season in midfield and 2 kids making their debuts from the bench. Utd were excellent all things considered, that’s a brilliant performance.

Every time you give this Utd team the benefit of the doubt and a bit of belief, they let you down. The painful reality is that if Utd played this fixture 10 times, 9 of them would look like this.

These men should be placed in tented accommodation on an island - nobody sets foot on mainland Britain. No hotels, no spending money, no luxuries. They should be securely detained until deportation can be arranged. This really is not that complicated. It just takes balls.
