@murkawits @Gaiserick_ I get that, but I like being able to open packs, especially if I'm out with friends. My playgroup pretty much always grabs a few boosters and we rip em and show off what we got. It's a fun part of the social experience. I feel like that's pretty much out of reach for Pokemon.

Being a regular MtG player is so strange because Pokemon is this ephemeral non-structure that seems to be entirely consumed by gambling perverts. Every LGS has limited stock “only one per customer” for packs, and rares for sale. Not a single play group for the actual game.

@DonutStalker93 @Gaiserick_ The thing is the actual ptcg players are mostly dork collectors that primarily buy singles just like any other game. They just get to do it for way cheaper.

For my love’s birthday I wanted it to be special/nice! So! I cooked him breakfast & dinner :) A steak dinner! It was so yummy! Could’ve done better on the veggies but overall I was happy with everything :) & I baked him a cake, too!
