Knowledge and proficiency are wildly different. Just because someone understands a concept, does not mean they can execute it without misstep. In the tax planning and retirement planning world, there is a lot of knowledge….correct and useful knowledge. But those who execute without misstep are the ones who’ve been in the trenches, building the proficiency rep after rep over many years. Knowledge has value. Proficiency has exponentially greater value.
