“Commonwealth Bank has laid off hundreds of workers in Australia and launched a hiring spree in India just weeks after recording a $5billion profit. The bank increased its India-based workforce by 21 per cent to 6,788 in the year to June 2025, a 138 per cent increase since 2022.” •••••••••••••••• More bad news on the economic front today with inflation coming in higher than expected. As usual the response from the pundits is that interest rates need to rise. Rather than impose more austerity on hard working Australians by lowering demand isn’t it time that the Government actually looked at increasing supply by building more infrastructure to improve productivity. Using the blunt instrument of manipulating interest rates is not solving structural imbalances in the economy including excessive government spending. Furthermore the government needs to stop service jobs going offshore. A week after the CBA announced another record profit, it’s been revealed they are sacking staff in Australia whilst recruiting staff in India. The CBA employs almost 7,000 staff in India which is just intolerable. People First intends to rectify these issues by abolishing the Indian Free Trade Agreement, restoring the Military Apprenticeship Scheme and implementing an Infrastructure Bank to fund the construction of Infrastructure. Sign up today at Peoplefirstparty.au if you want to give our children a better future.

‼️ EPSTEIN FILES ‼️ WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO ABOUT IT? The Epstein files are public. Powerful people have been implicated in abuse and trafficking, and yet there is still no real accountability 😡 This is not just a US issue. There are UK connections. UK politicians. This is not something we get to watch from afar like it’s a Netflix documentary. If British power circles were involved, then it is on the British public to demand answers 🇬🇧🔥 These are the same “elite” networks who influence policies and “guidelines”, and tell you what you can and can’t do. The same people who demand your compliance, your taxes and your obedience… The information is out. The names are known. And still, no one has done anything about it. There have been no arrests and no consequences. If you are angry, stop keeping it to yourself. Stop just posting about it. Show up 🔥 ANTI-GOVERNMENT MARCH ‼️ 🗓 Saturday 28th February ⏰ 1PM 📍 Parliament Square, London If you’re in the UK and you want justice, be there 🔥

David Andersen is in the news again today because it was revealed in Senate estimates the ABC spent $45,000 on his going away party. That’s too much for sure but it still pales into insignificance compared to the over $400,000 he will receive every year in retirement until he dies. If he lives to 86, he will be paid more than $12 million for doing nothing. Not bad coin for someone who was already paid over a million a year for 5 years at the ABC. PeopleFirst is the only party that intends to means test the non-military defined benefit scheme for retired Federal bureaucrats. Estimates from the Finance Department put the cost of this scheme at $334 billion and counting. PeopleFirst intends to use the savings to fund an income tax cut on wages and salaries below $45,000. To keep more money in your pocket and out of the pockets of bureaucrats please sign up to PeopleFirstParty.au today. ••••••••••••••••• “At senate estimates in December, ABC's chief financial officer Melanie Kleyn sought to assuage Liberal Senator Sarah Henderson's disbeliet that a farewell party could cost over $45,000.” V “Outgoing ABC managing director David Anderson will remain one of the country's highest earners for the rest of his life despite quitting his $1.15million job – all thanks to you. According to the ABC's annual report from the 2022-23 financial year, the corporation's top executive received a total remuneration package of $1,156,969, increasing year-on-year by $120,000. Under the Commonwealth Superannuation Scheme, Mr Anderson, who first joined the public broadcaster as a bike courier in Adelaide in 1989 and enjoyed a 35-year career at the ABC, is entitled to an annual CPI-indexed pension of at least 37 per cent of his final salary. That would put the outgoing ABC boss's total taxpayer-funded annual pension at almost $430,000 – more than four-and-a-half times the nation's average income.”

I waited all week to release this. Watch to the end. Queensland Parliament didn’t just liberalise abortion — it banned debate for four years. That’s not democracy. That’s a gag order. Christian MPs are facing an Esther moment. Risk everything — or bow quietly. This Tuesday, @RobKatter3 moves to overturn the gag. History is watching. #ChurchAndState #QldPol #AbortionDebate #StandForLife #ChristianLeadership #Courage #Truth #Justice

“In 2023 alone, Australians paid more than $32 billion in fees to super funds, according to Rainmaker data. While regulatory guidelines exist for disclosure documents, there is no standardised way for super funds to present fees on websites, social media, or advertising materials. This inconsistency makes it difficult for consumers to compare funds and make informed choices.” •••••••••••• In light of today’s interest rate rise we need to ask which political party has the actual skill set to balance the books in this country. It’s People First and here’s why. The 6% interest you pay on your home loan is after tax. That is equivalent to around 8.5% pretax if you pay 30 cents in the dollar tax, and almost 12% pretax if you’re on the top bracket of 47%. Do you think the average superannuation funds pays that sort of return - no way. And don’t forget that superannuation fees cost another 1% of your balance. People First is going to let Australians keep their superannuation so they can pay their mortgage off faster. The current system only favours the financial industry which get to clip both your home loan and your superannuation. Australia doesn’t need any more financial engineers in this country - we need real engineers- civil, mechanical and electrical - which is why we are going to bring back the military apprenticeship scheme. Because at the end of the day you can build a financial system with paper promises, but you can’t build a better future for our children if they don’t own their own home.

We were in Freemantle when Alex entered our bus and shared her story. Following this, the ABC did a 'hit piece' on her. Following that, we invited Alex back on to let her speak freely, and the next day, Facebook shut down Cafe Locked Outs main facebook page with over 100,000 followers, giving us a 3649 day restriction. So what did she claim that was so dangerous to them? Michael
