FACTS: very soon, there will be announcement that BTC will be tokenized on the XRPL. What this means is Ripple custody will hold the original BTC, and mint the respective tokens on XRPL. This will happen some time end of this month, after pDex is enabled. Soon after, ETH, SOL and some other big players. When fiat/stablecoins? Well, the issue is custody. So to mint say RLJPY, a bank must custody the fiat for you. This is not as simple as you think when the values is say $100m, also there likely be fees, so the stablecoins business model musy include cash based investments to offset and make a buck.
