A few days ago, it was my birthday, and as always, I spent some time reflecting on life and the things that truly matter as one grows older. One thing that becomes clearer with time is the importance of the people you surround yourself with. As you grow older, be deliberate about your circle. Stay close to people of value, character, and integrity. Do not make friends carelessly. Hold tightly to old friends who have proven themselves over time. When you find yourself in the company of good people, let your children grow within that same environment. Let their children become friends with yours so they inherit good relationships, shared values, culture, and a sense of decency. It is equally important to keep your distance from people without values. Some people carry confusion, bitterness, and moral decay into every space they enter. Protect your peace, protect your home, and protect your family from such negative influences. As life moves forward, you begin to realise that the greatest blessings are not merely success, wealth or positions, but living a peaceful life, having decent human beings around you and raising children within an environment of substance, dignity, and values.

Except Dada Books, the traditional publishers that have published my works, in India, US, South Africa, Canada and Nigeria, haven’t paid me a dime and I don’t complain to them, because I don’t even know if my books are bought. That your book has been published, doesn’t mean anybody is buying them.

around us. Unfortunately, some people are terrible at taking photos and that can easily ruin one’s day.

After my session on the first day, someone sent me a message saying, “You’ve given me a third eye to see the world.” That message affirmed my belief that photography is for everyone. We all need a certain level of photography skill to capture moments and bring joy to the people

I dragged my tired body to Ilorin to teach photography for Saving African Youths Dream Initiative. On the way, I set a record and became the first Nupe man to travel to one city using 8 different cars. One of my friends, believes it was our village people who were at work.

This Ramadan has been one where I have truly lacked words. Words to portray my gratitude and words to ask Allah for more. So, more than anything, I ask that He looks into my heart and uses His might in answering my prayers. Even those I couldn’t express properly.
