Bhakti: I feel unfortunate that when my Guru was alive, I was not completely present to truly understand his greatness. Only now, through my experiences of Avadhuta darshans and visits to Jeeva Samadhis, I have begun to realize something profound, sometimes just sharing your problems and desires in their presence leads to them being resolved or fulfilled. It is not because they actively “do” something about it. It is because of the complete positivity and divine energy within them. Simply entering their sannidhi itself has the power to fulfill desires and dissolve difficulties. Before my Guru attained samadhi, he asked me for three things. Right now, I am not in a condition to fulfill them, and I have been feeling deeply low about it. When he was alive, he used to say, “Don’t worry. This particular work will be completed by just one (random) person. Just wait and see.” And somehow it would happen. Whether it involved a few thousand rupees or lakhs, arranging a vigraha, building a house, buying a car, or even someone’s disease getting treated by an unknown sponsor, things would simply fall into place. These yogis test you in mysterious ways. When it comes to sadhana, they may test your patience to the point where you feel like you might collapse the very next moment. But if it is material support that is needed, they can grant it within seconds. The lady who owns the temple mentioned below, along with her husband, had never met my Guru before. However, during the last Datta Jayanti, I took her and a few others to my Guru’s ashram. Something clearly moved within her after that visit. Recently, I shared my sadness about not being able to fulfill one of my Guru’s last wishes. It is something that has been difficult for me, and I thought I would try to complete it in the next few years. I had absolutely no intention or expectation that someone else would step in to do it , I always felt it was my responsibility. But yesterday, when I visited her house, she had already spent several lakhs to fulfill that very last wish of my Guru for his wife. I was completely stunned. While Poleramma resides in the temple in idol form, one of my Gurus once said that she herself is Poleramma, and Poleramma is she. My journey over the past six months has felt like something beyond this dimension, and I feel truly blessed to be receiving such unconditional love from my Gurus.
