You need to play this game this weekend! Gravity Duck 64 (2026) on the Commodore 64. The game was developed by Adrian Kurek (known on X as @wpqrek8bit), a professional game developer and retro enthusiast who crafted this as a hobby project. It faithfully brings the original's (a Flash game) core mechanic to the Commodore 64: controlling a brave little duck that can flip gravity at will to walk on ceilings/floors, navigate levels, avoid spikes/hazards, and collect items to solve puzzles and reach the exit. It is 2026, forty four years after the C64 release and amazing games are still being released... as Commodore 64 owners we are living in great times with a massive back catalog and new homebrew releases like Gravity Duck 64. In this video I work through the first 13 levels (of the 40 levels) with some trial and error. I love these sort of puzzle games and Gravity Duck 64 keeps the grey matter working over time with the anti-gravity feature and other mechanics / obsticles. If you want a fun, challenging C64 game to play on your OG machine or the new Commodore 64 Ultimate (available here for a $10 discount... t.co/t1vqxJP84h) Gravity Duck 64 is a total winnner. Drop @wpqrek8bit a follow too please, this is an excellent port and you never know he may be working on another epic Commodore 64 game. Download link is pin in his feed. Play Gravity Duck 64 and share which level you achieved.👇

Alien Hunter was released in 1983 by Abrasco Ltd., a UK-based software company known for producing budget games for the Commodore VIC-20. It’s an action game with arcade influences, where players take on the role of a hunter tasked with tracking down and eliminating aliens. The gameplay involves navigating a simple environment and shooting at enemy targets.

@exQUIZitely Ditto. Commodore 64 and what epic first computer. I don't know how my parents afforded it but I am eternally grateful they made that sacrifice for the family.

@wpqrek8bit Love playing this, this morning. I have never heard of it before, so I looked up the original on YT and you have done a top notch job porting it to the Commodore 64.

Do you remember those schoolyard debates about which was better: the Commodore 64 or the ZX Spectrum? Part 2: Alien Syndrome In 2025, we appreciate all vintage gaming, right? But when you were playing your favorite C64 game, did you ever wonder what your clearly deranged classmate's game looked and sounded like? Now you can, with this series of side-by-side comparison gameplay videos. #retrogaming

1994 German Commodore Amiga magazine: Did you know the TV series SeaQuest DSV's special effects were made on the Amiga? The competition from the magazine: Since January, the Steven-Spielberg Series "seaQuest" Airs Every Wednesday Evening During Prime Time. If you haven’t seen it yet, you should definitely tune in, because only then can you become the winner of the "seaQuest Contest." Around 40 percent of the episodes consist of computer animations generated with the Amiga, which is why Commodore and RTL have teamed up for the "seaQuest Contest." To participate, you need to create an animation for the series "seaQuest DSV" that is between 10 and 15 seconds long, following the participation conditions. The best entries will be shown on RTL, and the winner will be determined by a jury. If you’re creative and original, you’ll have a good chance of winning. 5,000 Mark Winner’s Prize and a free one-week stay at RTL in Cologne could be yours if you let your creativity run wild. The best animation will be used as a trailer for the series "seaQuest" starting this summer. Did you enter this competition? Who remembers seeing the winner's video used as the trailer for the series?

How frantic was "Tapper" on the Commodore 64? This video showcases the 2019 release by Excess. Originally, Tapper was launched in 1984 on the Commodore 64. The game was unique and loads of fun. Programming: Simon Cassidy Graphics: Donna Steiner Buttlaire, Mike Noll Music: Henry Spragens C&VG magazine rated it 93%. "This similarity aside, Tapper really is quite unlike anything that has ever been tried before. I played the Commodore 64 version and found it fast, with excellent cartoon-style graphics and nice jingles." Are you a fan of Tapper?
