A Kenyan says...
"God has found our village through the coming by-election...
For the record, I am a resident of Ngorika for 50 years and would be the first to celebrate the long awaited tarmacking of the Ithagani-Ngorika/Mbaruk-Ngorika-Kanyiriri road. But I have questions.
1.Is the road classified? We were told a few months ago by the late Kiaraho that it is not classified.
2.If it is not classified, when and how was the decision to tarmack it made?
3.If it is not classified, to what class is it being tarmacked?
4.The tender is dated 5 May 2026, but the tender documents are not ready. They will only be ready on 12 May 2026. Notably, party nominations are on 8th and 9th May.
5.The tender closing date is 20th May 2026. Meaning the contractors have 8 days to download the documents, pay the tender fees of KES 150,000, visit and survey the site, prepare the bids, pay for a bid bond and submit the tenders. I have seen a tender for a routine maintenance of the same road for KES 4.6m only, and the document is 182 pages long
6.Speaking of which, the tender I am referring to above was closing on 13 November 2025. Was the tender awarded? Was the job completed? At what point did the decision change from maintaining the road to tarmacking it?
7.Welcome to the Olkalou by-election and remember Olkalou was part of Kipipiri in 1995!"
Angry Obinna lectures Roseline Alionya for trashing Boniface Mwangi's activism and comparing Babu shooting DJ Evolve to the killings during maandamanos.
ODM is now struggling and trying to change the story. They are saying the NEC is the one that hired James Orengo on a pro bono basis, and that he later brought in a firm linked to Julie Soweto.
But let’s not forget the truth.
At the end of the day, it is Orengo who delivered victory. He stood in court, argued the case, and won. That win is what gave ODM the legal ground to secure the 12 billion shillings from the government. That money is not a favor from NEC, it is a result of legal success.
You cannot rewrite history when the results are clear.
Orengo didn’t just participate, he led the fight. He brought the win home. Without that victory, there would be no 12B to talk about today.
Give credit where it is due. Orengo deserves his flowers.
Sometimes I look at today’s nightlife & wonder whether some people are going to a club or auditioning for horizontal engineering cast at Brazzers. Fashion is personal but somewhere between confidence and kupiga lukuu, the line seems to be getting thinner than some outfits. The truth is, decency never goes out of style.
Whether you’re in a church, office, street, or even a nightclub, how you present yourself says a lot before you even say a word. Clubs are meant for good music, great company, dancing, and creating memories,, not turning every night into a contest of who has better nyash or Sundus.
That’s one reason I respect places like club 1824,, venues that understand entertainment doesn’t have to come at the expense of standards. They once refused mama Liam to enter coz alikua ameva hizo nguo zake za matakataka, niliskia musuri aje, ilibidi niende next day kuona hii ni club gani inaleta Kisirani kwa boma.
Some women will say my dress my choice, but ni vizuri kuangalia ni wapi unavaa izo manguo zako za matakataka. Decent dressing is important everywhere, including in clubs. People go there to enjoy good music, socialize with friends, dance & unwind over a drink.
Nightlife should be about entertainment, respect, and creating memorable experiences,, not making others uncomfortable or unsafe. Gentlemen, personal safety should always be everyone’s top priority.
There's a place we all know where to find such half-naked ladies👇, and it's definitely not in clubs. So when you see such women in a club, just know you're in the wrong place. Clubs that tolerate such dress code will get you served Pishori namna hatari. Na utaibiwa kisha wakukaguwe Sundus siku moja. Chesaa!!
My friends have you read the finance bill this year ama nianze spaces tuelimishane?
The small part nimesoma nimekasirika hasira inatoka na mapua,we might hit the streets very soon!!!!

I have received a call from Lucy Waweru, the lady whom I mistakenly sent Ksh 30000 yesterday. She says that she lives in Mpeketoni with her younger sister and her 3 kids — a single mother for that matter.
That yesterday when she received the money, her phone had low battery at 3% and her area has had no electricity now for a whole week. Eti wanatumia solar kucharge simu na wanaishi mbali na town centre.
That immediately she received the money alitransfer kwa number ya sister yake out of shock. That hana kazi. Eti tangu bwana yake amuache, life imekuwa ngumu mno. She has been selling Korosho huko mtaani ndiyo watoto wake wapate chakula lakini kwa sasa biashara imerudi chini.
What surprises me ni kwamba baada ya kunipigia simu, I received Ksh 29600 from her. Coz she is honest, nimeamua kumbless na 50K afungue kibanda ya kuuza mboga hapo Mpeketoni town juu ile job yenye nilimuahidi inahitaji mtu alisomea computer na yeye hakusoma beyond class 8.
I'm hoping that she will pick her pieces from there. Lucy, may God bless you.

Roseline Alionya came on tonight trying to force a viral, gotcha moment—and it completely fell flat. Instead, she exposed how little she actually understands the issues she speaks on. There was a lot of confidence, but no substance behind it.
She claimed Passaris built several safe houses and had done her best on femicide, yet couldn’t back it up with anything then told me to go ask Passaris myself.
she had initially at Citizen tv confidently threw out that Ruto built 25,000km of roads, a figure that actually represents the total length of paved roads in Kenya since independence.
She’s not engaging with facts, she’s chasing moments, petty soundbites to look sharp in clips.
Honestly, it was embarrassing to watch and cringe to see her being used like that lol
@RadioGenKe
The question of the day is not if Rais Ruto will be defeated. That's now forgone. The pertinent question is who will replace him as the 6th President of the Republic of Kenya, 9th August 2027.
The fact that the Kipsigis community has embraced the DCP Party despite Kasongo's minions labeling it a tribal outfit shows the level of political maturity and independent thinking within the Kipsigis community.
Dci has arrested Beatrice Wangari, the woman who was allegedly with Dr Obwaka when he died in Kitengela.
When we said that Dr Obwaka's death wasn't normal, government bloggers and aoologists claimed it was a natural death.
Since they have lost the narrative, now they have arrested that lady trying to frame her.
When Godfrey Otsotsi was attacked in Kisumy by paid goons, he was in a hotel with a woman and they claimed he was supplying electricity.
When former Nairobi hospital's financial director died, we saw a cctv of a woman coming out of the house and jumping over the fence. DCI told us it was a case of a love gone sour.
Basically, anytime there is a high profile case like this one, they have to drag a woman to sell the narrative of infidelity or love gone sour but people are wiser now.
At the end of the day, Beatrice will become another 'Collins Jumaisi'. Perfect case of changing narratives to recuse the high profile officials and patrons from smear campaigns.
Good morning patriots. Here is your morning dose of anger that should be served cold and on an empty stomach for maximum absorption.
So @MillicentOmanga was removed from a board she did not know she was still on. She had to learn about her own removal from a government gazette. Not from a resignation letter. From a gazette.
And here is what makes it worse, there is photographic evidence of her sitting front row at a Kenya Shipyards board meeting in January 2026. She attended. She sat. She nodded. Then forgot she held the position entirely.
This is the full lifecycle of the Kenyan board appointment. You are picked not because you understand shipyards or maritime policy. You are picked because you campaigned for the right person. The board seat is not a responsibility. It is a thank you card with a sitting allowance attached.
This is how Gaucho ends up governing a hospital board. This is how serious institutions get filled with unserious people. The shipyard still needs to build ships. The hospital still needs to save lives. But the chairs are occupied by political accessories collecting allowances between photo opportunities.
Omanga's tweet was meant to be funny. It was. But underneath the laughing emoji is an accidental confession, she collected allowances, showed up occasionally, and genuinely lost track of the role entirely.
That is not just incompetence. That is the system working exactly as designed. Stay angry and normalise beating up politicians. Singapore is just a mirage!!!
Dismas wa Tabu. Dreaming in installments. Billed in full.
William Ruto anatuonanga matako sana!
All of a sudden Dr. Job Obwaka was with a woman before his death!
Someone who has been bedridden since anakonda hanged him in court was allegedly twerking on top of his wheelchair with a woman which led to his death!
The guilty are always running!
The ASSASSIN can't even have mercy on the mourning family! He has started spinning his usual cover up narratives just like he did to Jacob Juma, General Ogolla, Kenei, Jirongo and even recently on Johanna Ng'eno where he blamed the weather.
Continuation..
At 9:00 AM on Wednesday, six young men gathered at a playing field near Kingdom Seekers Church to coordinate their arrival at work. They had two motorbikes and an understanding. Evans, Kevin, and Joseph shared one bike, while Julius, Dennis, and Isaac took the other. By 9:30 AM, they rolled into Mawanga.
Twenty-one-year-old Grace Kariuki was alone in her mother’s shop, managing the day's responsibilities. When two men Joseph and Dennis approached her, they claimed to be carpenters sent by her mother. Grace immediately called her mother to verify.
On the other end of the line, Esther answered. With absolute clarity, she said, “I sent no one.”
The moment the lie collapsed, Joseph grabbed her. From a distance, the other four watched as Grace was dragged into the main house. Kevin produced a knife and a bottle of petrol. Inside the bedroom, Kevin and Isaac committed the act and killed her. Outside, the operation continued. Isaac stepped out and instructed Evans and Julius to empty the shop’s till. They counted out 2,500 Kenyan shillings and scratch cards worth 1,150.
As they prepared to leave, Kevin poured petrol over the furniture and struck a match. When Esther arrived, there was nothing left to save. Her daughter lay on the bed, reduced to something unrecognizable. However, the autopsy later corrected the fire’s lie: the cause of death was asphyxia due to pressure applied to the mouth and nose.
She had been awake when the flames came.
At 5:00 PM, the six men met again at the same playing field as if nothing of consequence had happened. They divided the money; Evans received 2,000 shillings payment for his participation. For his presence.
Five days later they struck again. This time it was Susan Wamboi Nginge, 26 years old, running a small shop attached to her home. Inside, her three-year-old son slept on the sofa unaware that proximity to adults offers no protection when the adults in question have abandoned whatever makes a person human.
.
Kevin sent Dennis ahead to distract her pretending to buy something. While Susan focused on the transaction, the others moved like shadows behind the structure, climbing over the iron fences.Joseph led, carrying a machete. They forced Susan into the bedroom. Kevin dragged her inside and called Julius to join him. The door closed, and time stretched as something irreversible took place.Minutes later, Julius stepped out. Kevin, the supervisor of ruin, asked
“Is she dead?”
Julius nodded.
They placed her body on the bed, Then Kevin began the ritual again.Petrol in the bedroom. Petrol in the sitting room. And there, beside the sleeping child.Kevin turned to Evans and issued an order.
"Kill the boy."
Evans refused. They grabbed the television, As they fled, Kevin lit a match and threw it behind him, But fire, as always, betrayed them.It drew attention and Neighbors came running. Windows were broken. Someone screamed the child’s name into the smoke-filled room,
He woke up crying. And then Strong, desperate, human hands pulled him out of the smoke A small, stubborn defiance boy lived but his mother did not.The autopsy would later reconstruct what the flames tried to obscure. Strangulation.
Three days later at 3:00 AM One of them moved through Mawanga alone watching. He studied a house the way a hunter studies a watering hole, waiting for absence. When the homeowners finally left for work, By 9:00 AM, the others gathered at Nakuru South Cemetery.
At 10:00 AM, they arrived, inside the house was Diana Opicho, 25 years old. Alone. Which, in their calculus, was the only qualification that mattered. The back door was open and they slipped in quietly.1/2
