sometimes we climb up things to see if we can do it, or to get a nice view, or learn a hiding spot. it's annoying if every nook has "rewards" in discone, most paths are uncharted, and you will climb and parkour them with your friends #screenshotsaturday #gamedev #indiegame

1/x love this menu, diegesis may be the most important concern in videogames. in addn to menus, i wish this conversation was also about the diegesis of game rules & systems, the constraints a game is made of. i want games to be more diegetic (& hypodiegetic & antidiegetic!).

you can place a checkpoint by taking a deep breath (in real life) in our game. that you can then float back to as you spacewalk in a bubble. (you can also parkour up uncharted mountains with your friends, of course) #screenshotsaturday #indiegame #gamedev
