This will sound made up but it’s not. My parents traveled every fall. They went up the east coast and came back around the west. They would stop at antique shops and pick up unique things. One year they came home with a large old school bell. My dad put it on a long pole and placed it in the back yard. Never heard them ring it. After my parents passed I got the bell. It’s in my back yard now. A year or so ago I got curious and went to see if I could ring it. I could. It’s a beautiful tone. Now I’m not lying when I say whenever we ring the bell something happens in the air. In us. It’s clean. It’s happy. I believe bells have a magical affect on humans. We ring the bell every time we go outside.
