If everyone is supposedly bearish then: Why do I get hundreds of comments saying "I can't wait for you to be wrong" on every video I post expressing a bearish view? Why do dozens of influencers tweet about me weekly laughing and saying that BTC follows M2, ISM, etc. and that this is a 5 year cycle or supercycle? Why is it that every time I join a twitter space, the collective response is for people to label me a doomer for having the audacity to suggest midterm years are not great for BTC? It's easy to pretend like everyone is a bear, but one look at plenty of influencers on this app would show the opposite. I see a lot of influencers who missed the top and faded the four year cycle now desperately want the market to bail them out. I see influencers that shilled altcoins for 4 years because they thought alt season was coming and now they desperately are searching for any reason that the market won't go lower. Social interest in crypto is still trending down. Monetary policy remains restrictive, and macro headwinds continue to exist for the first half of 2026. BTC always forms lows in February of midterm years, then has countertrend rallies that lasted a few weeks, before the market then drops again. No amount of mental gymnastics will change how the market cycles tend to work. We can keep pretending that everyone is a bear, but one look at the comment section on any of my bearish tweets would prove otherwise.

Bitcoin has been bleeding to Gold since December 2024. A single green monthly candle after 7 red consecutive monthly candles does not automatically mean the trend is over.

Soft parenting is the reason why kids are so disrespectful and weak nowadays. We’re raising a generation of brats because parents are too scared to give a real lesson. My older son made a mess of my tools and spilled paint everywhere so I made him face the wall for 10 minutes. My wife started an argument with me and said I should be soft with him because he’s a child. We’re not doing them any favors by being soft because they’ll never learn how to follow a simple rule. It’s better to face a wall for a few minutes than to get hit with a belt like I used to. If you just let kids do whatever they want, they grow up to be spoiled brats who expect everything for free. I want my son to listen to me and know there are consequences in this house. You’re failing your children if you think being their friend is more important than being their parent. Good luck dealing with your kids when they’re older and still have no respect for your home.

I worked at Epic Games for two years. This is real, and the strategy behind it is smarter than most people realize. Tim Sweeney has spent nearly two decades buying North Carolina forest land. 50,000+ acres across 15 counties. He’s now one of the largest private landowners in the state. The purchases started in 2008, right after the real estate collapse wiped out developers who had been planning golf resorts and luxury communities on biodiverse wilderness. Sweeney paid $15 million for Box Creek Wilderness, a 7,000-acre stretch in the Blue Ridge foothills containing 130+ rare and threatened species. Developers had owned 5,000 of those acres before the crash. He bought them for conservation prices when nobody else was bidding. He runs the acquisitions through an LLC called “130 of Chatham.” He buys the land, holds it for years, then either donates it to the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, sells it at a discount to state parks, or hands it to land trusts. In 2021, he donated 7,500 acres in the Roan Highlands to the Southern Appalachian Highlands Conservancy. Largest private land donation in North Carolina history. The part people miss: he told the News & Observer that since 2021, land got too expensive to keep buying. So he shifted focus to converting his existing 50,000 acres into permanent conservation status. He’s locking the land into legal structures that make development impossible regardless of who owns it in the future. A billionaire worth roughly $6 billion is spending tens of millions acquiring wilderness specifically during economic downturns, then giving it away or placing it under permanent legal protection. The land will outlast him, Epic Games, and Fortnite. That’s the part that separates Sweeney from billionaires who write checks to get their name on a building. The building depreciates. The forest compounds.

We are overstimulated and we don't even notice. Netflix while eating. Reels in the bathroom. Music while cooking. Podcasts on walks. We consume by default, not by intention. You keep filling every gap, then wonder why you feel foggy and unmotivated. Boredom and silence are the real growth drivers. They give you space to think and create. That's when solutions show up for problems that have been stuck for months. Leave some room.

Sources: The #Giants 1-year deal with WR Calvin Austin is worth $1.5 million, including around $100k guaranteed. Incentives can get it to $4.5m. The Giants expect Austin to compete for their PR job, in addition to contributing as a receiver. He caught 31 passes for 372 yards and 3 TDs last year. He had a PR TD in 2024, averaging 10.3 per attempt.
