🗣️ JUST IN: Referee Chris Kavanagh was left confused by VAR during a review to rule out West Ham’s equaliser against Arsenal as full audio is revealed. “You’ve got Declan Rice and you’ve got [Leandro] Trossard,” said AVAR Akil Howson. Kavanagh: “I don’t know what you’re trying to show me, give me a clue.” After being asked to look at Trossard potentially shoving Pablo into Raya, Kavanagh said: “I don’t think there’s much in that at all, I’m happy with that.” He was also asked to review a potential foul by Rice on Mavropanos, to which he replied: “But the foul happens on the goalkeeper before.” It took four minutes and 17 seconds between Wilson firing into the back of the net and a foul being awarded, with 17 replays reviewed in the process. "Arsenal have got away with scoring goals without free kicks given against them so many times this year. The BBC then brought a former referee in Darren Cann on Match of the Day – well, the referee isn’t going to say he’s got it wrong, is he! It’s so biased!" – Allardyce

🚨🗣️ Micah Richards DROPS BOMBSHELL over the VAR controversy involving Arsenal FC 🗣️ Richards: “If this whole VAR situation is properly investigated, then serious questions will need to be asked.” “You cannot have this level of controversy around key title-deciding moments without scrutiny.” “And if any wrongdoing or major officiating failures are uncovered, people will start talking about consequences… even potential points deductions.” 😳 “That changes everything.” “Because now we are no longer talking about one bad decision.” “We are talking about the integrity of the Premier League title race.” “I’m not accusing Arsenal of anything directly.” “But football fans deserve transparency, especially when margins are this small at the top.” “If the league wants trust from supporters, they must address every controversy properly.” 🔥⚖️

I’m sorry, but that is rubbish. We have all seen the other angles, which clearly show West Ham players being fouled before the ball reaches the keeper, and the law is clear that the first offence is the one that counts. That decision was highly subjective, and the Arsenal player was grabbing Pablo, preventing him from controlling his movement. What is more troubling is that there were multiple fouls taking place beforehand, I have seen at least four. Many believe it should have been no goal and a penalty instead. What is crucial here is that the referee appeared to ignore those earlier incidents and showed no willingness to review them. VAR should have intervened and insisted that those moments were properly examined, given their importance to the outcome. Even a simple call of a possible foul would have been enough to prompt a review. What we are left with is a disgraceful lack of consistency and a clear failure to follow the correct process. It is precisely decisions like this that continue to undermine confidence in VAR. The standard of refereeing in the Premier League is at a very low ebb, and it is becoming increasingly difficult for supporters to have any faith in the system.

@premierleague @jaymeeteewhu98 Howard Webb should hang his head in shame. Hes overseen the worst set of refs ever produced, they're scared to give onfield decisions, miss the obvious, they're corrupt to certain clubs and out of their depth. All managed by an absolute clown in Webb. Who, btw,was awful himself
