@drewdyck This is my third year listening to the Bible everyday, & it has transformed how I engage with God’s Word and the Lord Himself each morning.

If you’ve been listening to the Bible this year instead of reading it and feel a little sheepish, like somehow it doesn’t count, remember this: 95% of the early Christians encountered scripture this way. The vast majority were illiterate and had to have it read to them.

@whignewtons I’m used to delays in big productions, but this has me wondering if we’re about to see the reverse of what happened on The West Wing, & he’s going to bring VP Harris with him to the podium.

To be clear: It’s normal but it’s also stupid. There’s a lot of non-DC people tuning into this who don’t know it’s normal and will assume the delay signals a problem.

I named my steaks Shadrach, Meschach, and Abednego, hoping a fourth would appear on the grill. But they all just came out raw.
