Y si os dijera que existe un JRPG donde puedes juntar a 60 unidades de soldados simultáneamente para luchar entre ellos? Ese juego se llama Generation of Chaos y fue desarrollado por Idea Factory para la PS2. El mayor atractivo de este título era juntar a 60 soldados y que se diesen de golpes entre ellos, y esto sorprendía muchísimo en un hardware como la Play Station 2. Aunque esta mecánica no vino exenta de errores, a la PS2 le costaba horrores mover a 60 soldados de forma simultània, por lo tanto el juego tenía caídas de frames bastante severas. Detrás de este juego estaba su director Masatoshi Ogura (小倉 昌敏). Ogura san es el que pensó que el jugador debía sentir el verdadero peso de gobernar con las consecuencias que ello conlleva, creando un gran tablero geopolítico en el que se debaten los intereses de cada facción. Yoji Hiraiwa (平岩 洋司) tambien estuvo involucrado como diseñador de personajes principal. Hiraiwa san fue el responsable de que los personajes tuvieran armaduras con ese diseño tan gótico, y además hizo a todos los generales de la obra. Quiero hacer una mención especial a la diseñadora de entornos Naoko Mizuno (水野 尚子). Mizuno san aplico un estilo artístico limpio y pulido para que el jugador supiera en todo momento donde estaba y que bonificaciones podia sacar del terreno. Una gran profesional!
