Pharmacogenomics; in 2015 there was a period for eight months where I was able to pharmacogenomics test patients for over 300 drugs. These included anesthetics, antibiotics, anti-depression, drugs, anti-anxiety, drugs, anticoagulant, G.I. meds, pain meds at all. For instance, during this time, I could predict how a patient would react to pain medication after surgery. There is a distinct difference in the receptors for different pain medications. When I was able to choose the correct pain medication based on the code genomic studies I did, the patient would have no nausea, no vomiting, And be much more coherent. During this time, I was also bringing this information into the anesthesia group for surgery. They were following the guidelines on the pharmacodynamic test of specifically what anesthetic drug to use for the patient during this time. Patients were waking up extremely rapidly in PACU, with minimal to no nausea. Going home, fully alert and awake with minimal symptoms from having anesthesia drugs. This is the way that medicine should be practice, and we will have access to it in this particular world with or without insurance companies.

My daughter Brie went to heaven early this morning, ending her long battle with brain cancer. It is an incredibly difficult time for all of us, but the lord did answer our prayers. We had prayed for complete and total healing which she is whole, healthy, and perfect in heaven right now. We had also prayed for a peaceful and quick passing with as little suffering as possible. Please keep the family in your prayers and thank you all for the support during this time.
