Shoutout to Kevin Cook’s Tiger Slam book for offering a bit of gear minutiae I’d never heard before. During the 2000 Open Championship, Tiger used only one 2.1-inch tee for 72 holes. One. The tee remained in a leather pouch with his wallet and wallet from then on.
