#EXS3030 Jo wants to learn how to juggle a soccer ball. At first she slowly increases the amount of juggles she can get. Overtime, she learns to juggle and is comfortable with it. Now she can juggle easily and is implementing new tricks. What type of learning curve is this?

@villeahola33 Great video Ville! I think this device is a really cool idea because of how much of an essential task eating is. It is great how it gives individuals with spinal cord injury an opportunity to eat independently without someone’s help!

@PombierCallum Great video Cal! I thought it was interesting how significant the differences were in the tremor when the patient was resting, versus when he was doing purposeful movement.

@SpencerAshman Nice video Spencer! This video is really interesting because it does a great job highlighting the importance of health over money. I agree that its crucial for brain scans to be done before and after a season so deterioration doesn't get to the point where it ruin one's life.

@docgoble In the video, the quarterback uses his Frontal Cortex when he sees Kearse making a run up the line. Based on Kearse’s speed and distance from him, the quarterback had to decide the weight and distance of the throw in order to ensure Kearse was able to catch the ball. (0.04-0.06)

@docgoble When Markkanen prepares to go for the dunk, his cutaneous receptors in his hand give feedback about how firmly he needs to grip the ball in order to keep it stable in his hand as he goes up for the dunk. (.04-0.05 seconds)

@MylaDickerson Great video Myla! I think this video is really important because ACL injuries are so common among female athletes. EMGs are a great tool to utilize during their recovery to help with quad activation as well as to help get back to symmetry between the right and left leg!

@GabbiNicholas Love this video! Gabby Douglas has always been my favorite gymnast to watch in the Olympics! Incredible how composed she is on the balance beam and how she didn’t even stumble. Crazy how Gabby made it look so easy, even though it takes so much skill and precision!

I’m taking #EXS3030 @OaklanduSHS with @docgoble because I am an exercise science major and believe this course will be important for my future career as a healthcare professional! I am excited to learn about neurophysiology and how it contributes to differences in motor control.
