Yesterday I competed in the 5A District 17 meet. I was the anchor leg of the 4x1 placing 5th with a time of 49.3. I ran the 400m placing 2nd with a new PR of 58.32. I was the lead off leg of the 4x4 splitting a 59 and earning 2nd place with a time of 4:00.97. Area next Wednesday!

DISTRICT 5a-17 TX: DAY 1 Prelims went better than I could have asked for! I finally broke the 60-second barrier in the 400 with a time of 58.63 seconds. This placed me second overall in the district, and secured my spot for finals on Thursday. Excited for what’s to come tomorrow

This past week at district was amazing! Learned some valuable lessons on racing the 400 in both the open and the 4x4. I was able to PR in both events with a 63.86 in the open and a 61 split in the 4x4. Very excited to race this week in Splendora with my team.
