((novel readers know that ayao would literally burn down an entire empire if the woman he loves was in danger!)) moving forward, we're about to enter their divorce arc. for this part, i also want to understand ayao's perspective. one major difference between the novel and the drama is that yeli and ayao don't share a past connection in the novel. they aren't tied together by debts of gratitude or revenge. so if you're frustrated with ayao because he seems shortsighted for divorcing yeli, i completely understand. from yeli's perspective, it's heartbreaking. yeli who spent months planning everything to heal her husband's legs and avenge his family. but let's give ayao a little grace too. he doesn't know that everyone on Mount Li is already dead. as far as he knows, yeli has an imaginary maid named ‘Qingshuang’. that's literally all he knows. of course he's going to assume yeli is simply lonely and misses the maid who never came down the mountain with her. from ayao's perspective, yeli still has a deep attachment to the people of Mount Li. she never seemed completely happy after leaving the mountain because she still misses the family she left behind. to him, it probably looks like yeli only came down the mountain to complete her mission and repay her mother's debts. that's the understanding ayao has right now. the truth is, they both love each other. they just never had enough time to truly express it. the writer has been so focused on yeli's revenge plans that she rarely gets the opportunity to show her deeper vulnerabilities to ayao. at the same time, ayao is rarely given the chance to help yeli, or even fully understand what she's fighting for.

If you want to express criticism, please use good language that is acceptable to many people, don't open a place of hatred just because you don't like the actors!

If you are not satisfied with the plot of the drama, it's better to stop immediately and not watch it, or maybe you can keep your dissatisfaction to yourself.
