Elated to share that this January, I’ll be opening the doors to the Lofgren Mycology Laboratory at Berkeley in the @PMB_Berkeley dep. Our group will work on the ecology and evolution of fungi and their hosts, with a focus on ectomycorrhizal symbiosis, metabolism, and genomics.

@MartinSavidge Dear Martin, you should let viewers know why Biden stopped the pipeline, to help slow global change. It would be good to follow with some homeowners on the coasts of SC, NC and GA whose homes are going out-to-sea because of sea level rise. Speculation is speculation, it can fail.

In remote South Dakota the Keystone XL pipeline is dead now it’s marooned assets litter the landscape. Empty worker camps, pump stations, power substations and piles of pipe. Locals wonder what’s to become of all the stuff vacated almost over night.
