Hi, we're Kickstand. 👋 Like a kickstand on a bike, we aim to provide a sense of support and an opportunity to rest and regroup — whenever you need it. Kickstand is the go-to place for Alberta’s young people to have more good days.

The City has activated its extreme weather response. Open City facilities such as recreation centres and libraries are available during operating hours for anyone needing a place to warm up. Three shuttles will run nightly from Southgate, Northgate and Kingsway Transit Centres between 10 pm to 6 am, providing transportation to available shelter spaces.
