This Memorial Day, we honor the American heroes who gave their lives defending our nation, our freedoms, and our way of life. Their sacrifice is a debt we can never fully repay, but one we must never forget. Today and every day, we remember.

North Carolinians are being squeezed by skyrocketing property taxes, and today #NCGA Senate Republicans took action. I voted to place a constitutional amendment on the ballot to help limit rapid property tax increases and give taxpayers more control over local spending. Onslow County families deserve stability, transparency, and a stronger voice in how their tax dollars are used.

Runaway property taxes are squeezing family budgets and pricing North Carolinians out of their homes. Senate Republicans advanced HB 1089 to rein in hikes and give voters the final say on limits to local property tax increases. #ncpol #ncga

Senate Republicans passed the NC Right to Work Amendment. This November, voters can lock it into the Constitution: no worker should be forced to join or pay dues to a union just to earn a paycheck. #ncpol #ncga

Lower taxes shouldn’t just be a promise. They should be protected. Senate Republicans approved cutting North Carolina’s income tax cap in half, from 7% to 3.5%. Voters will have the final say in November 2026. Lower taxes for all NC.

Yesterday, I filed Lower Taxes for All NC, a constitutional amendment to cut North Carolina’s income tax cap in HALF, from 7% to 3.5%. It’s a permanent guardrail written into our state constitution that protects every North Carolinian from future tax hikes. If passed by the legislature, Lower Taxes for All NC will be on your ballot in November 2026.

North Carolinians are facing skyrocketing property tax bills. Senate Republicans are taking action with SB 889 to pause this year’s reappraisals, giving homeowners breathing room while lawmakers pursue long-term property tax reform.

I really enjoyed visiting Novonesis in Franklinton a few weeks ago alongside Sen. Ted Budd! It was impressive to tour such a state-of-the-art facility and learn more about how biosolutions are driving sustainability across a wide range of industries in our state. #ncpol

Lower taxes. Strong families. A thriving North Carolina. Government should live within its means, not take more from yours. That’s why I remain committed to keeping taxes low, cutting unnecessary spending, and putting hardworking North Carolina families first. When families keep more of what they earn, small businesses grow, communities thrive, and opportunity expands for everyone. I’ll continue standing firm against tax hikes and fighting for common-sense policies that keep North Carolina moving forward. Your money belongs to you, not the government.
