the way that browsers are meant to serve you got twisted at some point : the users are being tracked, profiled, and harvested, which is really what the whole problem is all about. what @mynebrowser is trying to do differently is build a browser that actually aligns with the needs of the user. that would involve privacy by default, useful feedback to help shape the browser's development, and no hidden biases against the user. when done right mynebrowser wouldn't just be a browser it would be an internet renaissance.

This hits a very real nerve. Most browsers were never really built for the user, they were built to extract from the user. Tracking, profiling, nudging, all of that got normalized way too hard. So the idea of an aligned browser actually sounds pretty refreshing. If @mynebrowser can really build around the user instead of around surveillance, that is the kind of shift people will notice fast.
