I just wanna discuss God, if he exists. My mother was one of the most faithful people I know, kept the loyalty and faith in her God, prayed on average twice a day, sometimes overnight because I used to listen to her cry in prayer throughout the night because my room was right next to hers. But oh boy she suffered, I saw in her eyes how excruciating the pain was, she walked and I could hear her breathe through the pain in the most difficult gasps through her mouth. She went through financial exhaustion. People that love her like me also suffered looking at her go through all that, what kind of a sick God allows all this to happen if he is all powerful and all knowing, what kind of a sick plan is at play here? I have lost the oldest person that loved me through ALL my flaws, the ONLY person in this world I can be able to share ANYTHING without being judged, but guess what, she is dead, and for some reason theres a God that is all powerful and capable of everything and anything that is orchestrating all this as part of his plan. If she had to die let her die but not like this, not to a point she can’t speak or hold her own hand up.

TITBIT: Idols SA and The Voice SA revival? Primedia Studios has signed a collaboration deal with Opulent Entertainment Group, and as part of the deal, the pair will co-produce South African versions of talent shows. According to the press release, we are set to see Idols SA, The Voice SA as well as Project Runway SA return to our screens. Primedia Studios serves as a content licensor in South Africa in that it aquifers rights for existing IPs then produces for local broadcasters. While those titles may return, it doesn't mean they will be on the same platforms they were before — Idols SA may end up on Netflix or SABC and not Mzansi Magic. I love and miss family friendly television. I'm all in. It would be nice to try and produce original South African concepts, but my emo-tainment and telenovelas fatigue means I'm happy to take this. #KgopoloReports

@MDNnewss I'm so sad to see more and more of our amazing stars dying poor and without dignity. Where do their royalties go?

Ramaphosa releases progress report on State Capture recommendations President Cyril Ramaphosa has released a new progress report on the implementation of the State Capture Commission’s recommendations, highlighting significant strides made in the fight against corruption and institutional reform. The report, which builds on the government’s October 2022 response to the Zondo Commission, outlines key developments including the recovery of over R11 billion in stolen public funds, the enactment of eight anti-corruption laws, and ongoing criminal proceedings against dozens of implicated individuals and entities. Four major state capture-related trials have concluded with convictions, and 51 individuals along with 27 companies are still facing prosecution. Additionally, efforts to hold public officials accountable include delinquency proceedings against 71 former executives of state-owned enterprises. Despite these achievements, former Chief Justice Raymond Zondo has criticised the pace of implementation, particularly the lack of action against sitting Cabinet members implicated in corruption. The Presidency, however, insists that work is ongoing and that Ramaphosa remains committed to transparency and reform. The report also details progress on new legislation to improve public procurement, protect whistleblowers, and strengthen oversight bodies. Analysts say the coming months will be critical in determining whether the remaining recommendations will be fully executed.
