@GaetenD Weirdest part? Spreading so much money around w/o taking real credit. Drove x-country twice in 2024, FL->ME & FL->NM. Wall-to-wall fed-funded infrastructure projects. Minimal "Bipartisan IRA" or "tax$ at work". If you're gonna try to bribe the US voter, sign the f**king check.

@TradeandMoney Biden was the first truly fiscally irresponsible Dem in my lifetime. Obama and Clinton tried to pay for their programs via tax increases or spending cuts, but Biden just didn’t care.

Top forgivable mistakes of Biden’s term: 3. Student loan forgiveness - a rare policy targeting young people before it was blocked 2. Overstimulating the economy in response to Covid - better than under stimulating 1. The Afghanistan withdrawal - it was messy but long overdue
