@JStreble82 Kentucky will part ways with Mark Pope about midway into this upcoming season. I'm just counting down the days until he is gone. This is why I didn't want him to come to KY. He's not the one.

- Obinna was one of the first targets for Kentucky in the Class of 2027. - He was offered in September of 2024, just a couple months into the Mark Pope Era. - Visited Lexington in October when they played Purdue. - Visited Lexington in Feburary when they played Oklahoma. - Coaching staff conducted a in home visit right before the portal officially opened. - Kentucky was in constant talk throughout his entire recruitment before they backed off. Kentucky is still in need of a backup center and targets have dwindled. Makes you wonder if waiting on Tyran Stokes hurt their chances with other guys.

If Pope would have been able to land Wright and Freeman along with Wilkins then this would have stunk but you would feel better about the team. But he didn’t and now you’re looking at another frustrating season. But hey, the tournament is up to 76 teams.
