@tetsuoai I don't have grok 4.5 yet (Europe) but /goal has been a pain in the ass because of is skeptic reviewer loops backing off too frequently because can't resolve disputes. Los of tokens are wasted on back and forth disagreements about goal being implemented or not.

I only use Grok 4.5 now. The /goal command in Grok Build is changing how I actually ship things. It is very fast. It plans the architecture, writes the code, spins up sub-agents, tests everything, fixes its mistakes, and runs autonomously until the goal is complete and verified. Ask Grok to write documentation for a full feature in a plan.md file. Then, have it create a ‘goal’ prompt for that plan and send it back using /goal

Grok Build CLI just got an update with v0.2.98! 🚀 Changelog v0.2.98 Breaking Changes: • You can now pin authentication to API key or OIDC in config.toml; the unpinned method is no longer tried automatically. Features: • `/context` now shows token costs for skills and MCP servers. • `env_key` in config now accepts an array of environment variable names. • Linux middle-click paste from the primary selection now works; clipboard errors are handled more reliably. • /terminal-setup now shows your terminal's color support level and which themes are available. • grok setup --json prints your team's managed configuration without installing it. • Messages you type while the model waits on tasks now stay queued; pressing Enter twice sends them immediately by cancelling the current turn. • How-to Guides modal now shows a tip linking to Ask Grok above the footer shortcuts. • Subagent `task` and `spawn_subagent` tools now accept an optional `model` parameter in the CLI. • Keyboard Shortcuts modal now lists the paste key binding for images under the Input section. Bug Fixes: • A `pre_tool_use` deny now feeds the reason back so the model can retry instead of cancelling the turn. • Plan mode now strictly rejects edits outside the plan file, even under always-approve. • Web search and X search no longer fail when both a local function tool and the backend hosted tool are active. • Content-filter refusals from providers now show an explanation instead of ending silently with no output. • SQLite databases no longer cause bus errors on network filesystems such as NFS. • Resuming a session that is already open now focuses the existing view instead of creating duplicates. • Turn completion markers in scrollback now read "Worked for …" instead of "Turn completed in …". • /btw loading spinner now animates correctly when the main session is idle. • Mid-turn wait spinners now correctly show "Waiting on task output…" instead of Thinking. • Scrollbar thumb is now visible in the oscura-midnight theme. • Status messages for background work now end with a period. • Editing queued prompts no longer freezes the terminal or duplicates text into the composer.
Grok News@GrokInsider

Grok Build CLI just got an update with v0.2.97! 🚀 Changelog v0.2.97 Features: • Headless JSON output now includes token usage and cost per prompt and session. • SDK turns now expose detailed token usage and cost information via Turn.usage. • Double-click or Enter on a previous user message now lets you edit and resubmit it directly from the transcript. • Text selection in scrollback now works better when starting on chrome, gaps, or while scrolling. • Shell commands using `rg` (ripgrep) no longer require permission prompts by default. • Voice mode is now available for API-key sessions. • New environment variables allow tuning scroll and draw cadence for high-refresh displays. Bug Fixes: • Background tasks started by the model in headless mode are now killed on exit instead of leaking. • Agent process leaks on failed spawns and missing-stdio teardown are now prevented. • Parked turn markers no longer appear after interjections and now count down as background tasks finish. • The /context tool definitions line no longer shows the cryptic disclaimer suffix. • Terminal release waits boundedly for the process to exit and repeated waits share the drain grace. • Fixed a crash when the agent asked a question on narrow terminals. • Fixed misleading keyboard hints in the /mcps panel in minimal mode. • Clipboard copy now reports success correctly when using iTerm2 over SSH. • Fixed scroll/input conflicts when plan approval appeared over an open edit block. • Fixed frequent MCP and skills reloads that could freeze sessions on devboxes. • MCP servers using HTTP (such as nebula for Slack) now automatically recover from disconnects. • Next reset time in /usage now shows in your local timezone instead of Pacific Time.

v14 Lite Release Notes: – Distilled the intelligence from HW4 V14 into HW3. This allows HW3 to directly learn how to handle scenarios using HW4 V14 as a guide. This process unlocks the improvements that have been made to HW4 including Reinforcement Learning (RL) and offline models for HW3. – Improved both proactive and reactive responsiveness across a wide variety of categories including navigation handling, merges and forks, pedestrian interactions, traffic lights, and vehicle cut-in scenarios. – Improved general comfort in nominal scenarios through fewer false slowdowns, smoother steering and more consistent lane centering. – Introduced parking, unparking, and reversing capabilities. – Added Arrival Options for you to select where FSD should park: in a Parking Lot, on the Street, in a Driveway, or at the Curbside. – Speed Profiles are now available at all times, to further customize driving style preference.
Ashok Elluswamy@aelluswamy

FSD v14 Lite is now rolling out to AI3 early-access customers. Based on the feedback, will rollout to more customers over the next few weeks. This build distills the driving behavior from AI4’s v14 series into both the camera and compute config of AI3. It includes destination options and speed profiles on city roads, but more importantly significantly improved safety. We hope you’ll enjoy it, once the build ships wide.

@Akasheth_ Can confirm. Been using Claude opus 4.6 and 4.7 , and composer feels better than opus. I subscribed for one month for SuperGrok, and was money well spent.

I'm seeing a lot of people saying composer 2.5 is better than opus 4.8. I haven't used composer 2.5 yet, so I'm curious. If you've used, share your honest experience?

🚨📕 THE BOOK OF ELON IS NOW LIVE!!! 🎉🚀 This is the book we WISHED @elonmusk would write… “All of Elon's most useful ideas, in his own words.” Learn directly from the world’s greatest entrepreneur, like you’re sitting across from him at dinner. It took FIVE YEARS to make this for you. Because it's built from hundreds and hundreds of Elon's public appearances. I went through 3,000,000+ words to collect the most useful and timeless ideas. The final book is ~50,000 words. Every word is USEFUL. (This is what I do. My first book, The Almanack of Naval Ravikant, is one of the top 100 most highlighted books of all time on Kindle.) Then, I spent $50,000+ on editing and design so it looks and feels beautiful. Then… > Foreword by @naval. > Visuals by @jackbutcher. > Blurb from @mrbeast. > Published by @scribemediaco. > And yes, approval on this idea from Elon himself, thanks to @samteller. I went Maximum Effort to make this an all-timer. We got 10/10 on reviews from early readers, then worked on it for ANOTHER YEAR. Why so much effort? My mission is to create One Million Musks. For a generation to lift our gaze and build, so our grandchildren live in a world beyond our wildest dreams. I’m an independent author. I don’t get an advance. I risk my own time and money to make these books. Then we give away millions of them. Digital versions are free. I believe this book can benefit every human, and if you can’t pay five bucks for it, I want to personally gift it to you. Because I know it is useful. Useful how? You may be seeking purpose, a mission worthy of your life’s effort. You may have a clear purpose and seek the tools for success. You will find both in this book. Get the benefits of Elon’s entire life of hard-won lessons in a five-hour, easy read. (I checked, it’s a 5th-grade reading level.) You’ll feel personally mentored by the greatest entrepreneur in history. Click below to buy it now on Amazon, Audible, or directly from me. Amazon: amzn.to/47avSuh Audible: lnkd.in/gi_7HrFP Me: lnkd.in/gS2xWUWH If you’re not sure it’s worth $4.99 yet, just start reading the free version. PLEASE take 6 seconds to Like, Bookmark, and Repost. Even better: send this to your friends, team, or Group Chats! I guarantee this book will improve their lives. Spread the word! Every little thing helps. Your support spreads good ideas around the world, helping people and making the future better for everyone. Thank you! Forward. Together.

Being able to interact with a computer using your brain is live changing for paralyzed people. You can see videos here of a patient that couldn't talk, but now he can make the device speak using his voice, another patient that controls a robotic arm with his mind so he can now feed himself. I'd recommend watching some of the interviews to understand how life changing this is. Later this year, neuralink will provide vision to blind people and much more to come... This is very exciting for so many people.

Spanish PM Pedro Sánchez: Starting next week, my government will implement the following actions: First, we will change the law in Spain to hold platform executives legally accountable for many infringements taking place on their sites. Second, we will turn algorithmic manipulation and amplification of illegal content into a new criminal offense. Third, we will implement a hate and polarization footprint system to track, quantify, and expose how digital platforms fuel division and amplify hate. Fourth, Spain will ban access to social media for minors under the age of 16. Platforms will be required to implement effective age verification systems — not just checkboxes, but real barriers that work. Fifth and last, my government will work with our public prosecutor to investigate and pursue the infringement committed by Grok, TikTok, and Instagram.
