I had built everyone else’s future and abandoned my own. That day, something changed. Not anger. Not resentment. Just clarity. I started saying no. I started choosing myself in small, uncomfortable ways. For the first time, I felt guilty and free. They didn’t understand. Some called me selfish. But how do you explain you were drowning while saving everyone else? I still love my family. That hasn’t changed. But I’ve learned something. Love shouldn’t cost you your entire life. Now I’m rebuilding, And this time, I’m not leaving myself behind. Tell me, honestly no lies. When do you stop sacrificing and start living for you or do you think I’m over doing things?
