Pick up the pace in your video! 🫰🏿 Especially in your portfolio vids. Even organic content has a cadence and a pace. There is a pace in some videos that are simply too slow to be engaging. Attention spans are shorter and shorter. It’s hard enough getting viewers to stop and watch. It’s dang near impossible when there’s a slow pace combined with nothing visual on the screen to keep viewer engaged. I’ve seen great potential but simply too risky to put on shortlist. Sometimes you can’t tell if the slow/soft cadence is because you’re uninterested in what you are talking about or just naturally how you speak? Either way, if I can’t picture an ounce of joy, excitement, voice inflection, fluctuation, etc…. I haven’t seen enough to confirm if you’ll be a good fit for my clients.
