Pakistan is genuinely very expensive for a third world country. Like it’s not even about people having less purchasing power. It’s just generally too expensive

@nadiaak32 Maybe the real issue isn’t that people study to escape poverty. it’s that our system reduces education to an escape plan instead of a capacity-building process. Literacy without critical thinking is just certification, not education.

The idea that GB’s high literacy rate reflects true education is a delusion. For many, studying isn’t about seeking knowledge, it’s a way out of poverty. We’re not taught emotional skills, critical thinking. The real goal? Change our circumstances, give our parents a better life
