Words that exist only because of colonialism: 1. Third world country 2. Aid 3. Developing countries 4. Civilised 5. Oriental 6. Discovery Language isn’t neutral. Every one on the list was designed to create a hierarchy. To make one group sounds advanced & another sounds behind

Pakistan is genuinely very expensive for a third world country. Like it’s not even about people having less purchasing power. It’s just generally too expensive

Arthur's Seat is an extinct 350-million-year-old volcano located in Edinburgh's Holyrood Park, offering panoramic 360-degree views of the city from its 251-meter (822-foot) summit. It is a popular, relatively straightforward 1–2 hour hike. #Edinburgh

@nadiaak32 Maybe the real issue isn’t that people study to escape poverty. it’s that our system reduces education to an escape plan instead of a capacity-building process. Literacy without critical thinking is just certification, not education.

The idea that GB’s high literacy rate reflects true education is a delusion. For many, studying isn’t about seeking knowledge, it’s a way out of poverty. We’re not taught emotional skills, critical thinking. The real goal? Change our circumstances, give our parents a better life

So now this is a whole new trend “nurse hunt” in GB. Not to my surprise the “gairtat brigade” is silent. Waiting for the moment someone saying “ya GB ka culture ni ha” 😂
Deedar Hunzai@Emperisist

In our region, the husbands of nurses working in the Middle East are often proudly occupied with online scamming, fake trading, Facebook vlogs, and even travel adventures. Would it be appropriate to call them “social parasites”? #GilgitBaltistan #CoupleGoals #Hunza
