@SawyerMerritt This culture of frequently changing promises and rules by Tesla is really harmful not only for Tesla’s image, but will also undermines its great work and its supporters, while all new EVs are already coming up with such features as free included and will continue to evolve.

FYI: If you buy a new Model S, Model X, or Cyberbeast with the Luxe Package, Tesla says that FSD, free lifetime supercharging and free lifetime Premium Connectivity cannot be transferred to the next owner if you choose to sell the car. Previously, free lifetime Supercharging and lifetime Premium connectivity included in the package did not transfer with the car, but FSD did. Now, all three can't be transferred. "The remainder of the Recommended Maintenance, Wheel and Tire Protection Plan, and Windshield Protection Plan will transfer automatically to the buyer. The FSD (Supervised), Free Supercharging and Premium Connectivity will terminate once the ownership of the Model S, Model X, or Cybertruck is transferred." If you decide to trade-in your vehicle with the Luxe Package to @Tesla, FSD (Supervised) will be taken into account when evaluating the trade-in value for any Cyberbeast or model year 2026 Model S and Model X vehicles.

@Tesla please fix your Supercharger available spots estimation as it always (like now) shows me 7 available spots, but when I get close it says 5 minutes waiting time, and when I arrive (after 2 minutes) I find over 35 cars waiting in line with a real wait time of over an hour.

@Teslaconomics FSD “supervised” cannot run the robotaxi and you'll need “unsupervised” FSD, which will mostly be subscription-only (plus other possible fees or revenue share), so your entire plan is useless.

I want to get honest opinions on this bc I genuinely can’t tell if this is a smart long-term move or if I’m overthinking it. Would it be smart or dumb to buy around ~20 Teslas right now, park them, and buy Full Self-Driving outright for $8,000 per car before it ends on February 14, 2026, knowing that after that date FSD becomes subscription-only? My thinking is this. Once Tesla opens the Robotaxi network to owners like me, FSD subscriptions are guaranteed to get more expensive, bc the software will transform your Tesla into an $ income generating asset. That means no monthly software cost would be eating into my Robotaxi revenue, and most of the cash flow would go straight to profit. At $99/month, you hit breakeven around 6-7 years, but Teslas can last 12-15+ years, and Robotaxis could generate income far beyond that, say ~$30K per yr. If you do the math and discount the future cash flows to the present, it’s really NOT crazy to think FSD could be worth six figures per car. So like these days as I contemplate this, I’m constantly asking myself… am I being smart by locking in a disappearing pricing model early and preparing ahead of owner-based Robotaxi launch, OR am I being dumb by tying up capital too early on something that isn’t fully live yet? Let me know bc it’s a discussion I’m going to be having with my significant other soon, since we’d be operating this together.

I wish I could see what percentage of my miles are on FSD without needing to sign up for Tesla Insurance, (which isn't available in my state). I'd love to able to tell people exactly how many miles I've driven on FSD since I got my car, but I have no idea lol.

@RealDanODowd @Tesla @elonmusk For those claiming this is Autosteer and not FSD, the CT doesn't have autosteer (and won't have it, according to Tesla), so this video shows FSD as the wheel is moving autonomously, and sure Tesla will fix the issue.

Watch @Tesla Full Self-Driving leave the road and drive straight towards the guard rail, forcing the driver to swerve to prevent a crash. @ElonMusk claims Tesla’s defective FSD will be ready for unsupervised personal use by the end of the year. It won’t.
