Seorang pemilik homestay, Carie Tan, mengalami kerugian besar apabila penyewa meninggalkan tompokan merah menggelikan pada tilam hingga semua cadar, bantal dan tilam terpaksa dibuang. Usaha menghubungi penyewa gagal apabila mesej hanya dibaca tanpa balasan. Platform penginapan pula hanya menawarkan pampasan maksimum RM150 yang jauh tidak mencukupi. Akibatnya, pemilik terpaksa menanggung kos sendiri dan menegaskan kepentingan deposit kerana terlalu banyak masalah pernah dihadapi, sambil berharap tetamu menghargai homestay seperti rumah sendiri.
