4 billion people at risk from sea level rise, melting glaciers and fresh water availability. The polar ice sheets, glaciers, and Arctic permafrost all have irreversible thresholds at 1.5-2C of global warming

I agree with this in terms of adaptation planing & decision making - we know enough. We must adapt to at least 20 cm of global SLR by 2060 & 50 cm by 2100. The rate of future sea level rise depends on us and the Antarctic ice sheet, but we must strive to understand AIS response.
