I will always stand by the fact that Cucurella is so underrated. His energy, concentration levels, and positioning are immense. It’s just hard not to feel his presence everywhere.
Physically and technically he's deficient, but his concentration is one of a kind. He is very annoying to play against, and always in the right spaces and zones to defend.

this is Pedri every 3 days. nobody adds more value as the primary ball handler and orchestrator in the age of OOP excellence. there's no "Flick's Barça" without him.
Jude is quasi useless when he doesn't score and Vini is ridiculously inconsistent and dies without counters.

the only way you would think Vini is better than Pedri is if you judge by their best moments and games or a flawed 'profile' approach. Pedri is more impactful over the course of a season.
the best attacker is better than the best 8. but Vini and Jude are not the best attackers.
