Joseph Paintsil and Majeed Ashimeru should be in there. We need Majeed’s ball progression in the middle, we need paintsil’s pace which has a better chance of an end product than some of the wingers called up. This is a World Cup, we have to be brave. We cannot play 2 defensive midfielders, flat football, with no intention to progress. We don’t have Kudus to drop deep this time. Abdul Mumin and Ernest Nuamah just returned from ACL injuries, haven’t even played 2 full games. Are they match fit? I hope we Make the right calls in the final list.

I think it’s a solid squad overall, but a few adjustments would make it stronger: • Joseph Aidoo deserves a call-up ahead of Adjetey — his experience at Celta Vigo gives him the edge. • Joseph Paintsil has to be included — his impact and consistency can’t be ignored. • Majeed Ashimeru should be first choice in midfield — we currently don’t have a better box-to-box option than him. • No hate towards Baba Rahman, but based on his performances in Greece, he’s earned his spot.
