I just don’t understand this . The family were on top of it and asked several times was she receiving her thyroid meds. Somehow it was dropped off the med list. Only found out when symptoms started showing up No one noticed pills not being administered. What was she given in its place. The neglect is unspeakable and unacceptable.

On this #WorldAutismDay, I have something to share. I hope you know how hard it was to make & share this but in my heart, this needs to be heard so others may feel that they are not broken, just special in the way God made them. Take a listen.

Please pray for my mother in law . She has been forgetful and delusional. She was sent to ER and found out her thyroid medication was not given to her for two weeks. This assisted living place is at fault. The drs say her body was shutting down. She has a uti also. I’m not sure where she is going to go after this. First thing getting her okay.

@chionerin My former pastor used to share a quote, not sure who said it, but it goes like this: If you fear, fear not. If you fear not, fear. In other words, only those who truly understand the magnitude and worth of salvation know how dangerous it would be to be without it.

❓️❓️❓️Question ❓️❓️❓️ Is it normal for a Christian to question their savlation? I spend many a sleepless nights laying awake questioning weather I actually know God and am saved or if its just a part I play. What does it mean to have a personal relationship with God? Does anyone else feel this way? How did you get over it?

My first husband died of this brain tumor. Holding hope that this develops into a true cure 🙏
Massimo@Rainmaker1973

A single dose of a new cancer drug made a brain tumor almost disappear – in just five days. Doctors at Massachusetts General Hospital reported “dramatic and rapid” tumor regression in the first patients treated with a next-generation form of CAR T-cell therapy for glioblastoma, one of the most aggressive brain cancers known. The therapy, called CARv3-TEAM-E, was developed to overcome a major hurdle in treating solid tumors: their ability to hide from the immune system. The personalized treatment reprograms a patient’s immune cells to attack the tumor, and in one extraordinary case, nearly eliminated the cancer within just five days. This novel therapy is designed to target multiple features of the tumor at once, a strategy that may help overcome the common challenge of treatment resistance in solid tumors like glioblastoma. Although the tumors eventually returned, the early outcomes were described as unprecedented. One patient saw a 60% reduction in tumor size that lasted for half a year—an impressive result in a cancer known for its aggressiveness. The trial’s success marks a major step forward for immunotherapy in brain cancer and raises new hopes for long-term control or even a cure. Researchers are now working to refine the treatment and extend its effects, with the ultimate goal of turning a once-terminal diagnosis into a survivable condition.

Last month, I signed a contract with Baker Books to write: “Mothering as Worship.” It’s a simple and highly borrowed idea (from Brother Lawrence, the Apostle Paul, Kathleen Norris, Elisabeth Elliot, and my mother) that anything can become worship if we do it in God’s presence. It’s about developing a steady, steam-of-consciousness prayer life, as if Jesus is always in the room with us, because He is. It’s about nothing ever being wasted, including those unseen moments, on the floor, wiping up squished grapes. This is not a parenting book. I have no idea what I’m doing in that regard, God help me, but I do know how to describe life in an honest way. This book will be filled with real, hard, and beautiful scenes of motherhood and how to live those moments for God’s glory, even when you feel like you’re barely hanging on, or too busy with joy to stop and pray. I want to bless you, mothers of young children, because I am in the trenches with you. Pray that I will. Pray that God will give me time in the margins to write this book with all my heart. I cannot process anything if I don’t write - cannot think if I don’t write - so I figured I might as well turn this season of my life into the book I need to read myself, hoping that it might also be a gift to you, my readers. It won’t be out for some time, as books go, but I’ll share snippets on the topic as I write (probably using #MotheringAsWorship, because that is how #TalkingBacktoPurityCulture was born). And yes, it will include some of my poetry.

Some questions for reflection during Holy Week: What do you believe happens to a person after death? What is the basis of your belief? No need to comment on this. Just something for you to ponder.
