@KerrySfad The figures need to be true and accurate.....often those deaths that have been drug related are not recorded on death certificate as drug related but as heart failure, renal failure etc Families wait far too long for toxicology results often a year after the death 🙁

The voices of those most affected by such losses, should be heard loud and clear! Those who have passed in their struggles, have real names, real stories and real families that have been left behind in their absence and not just statistics in reports! 💜

@suz281 Definitely, as the Scottish drug death figures are not totally accurate as families wait for toxicological results, for sometimes more than a year. Why can Scotland not have their own drug testing service, this might just save a life ??!!!!

10 years ago this year I walked out of HMP Barlinnie for the last time. Tonight I was able to go back over the wall to share my experience strength & hope with the guys who don't see much light at the end of the tunnel. Grateful to be free today in more ways than one & to be back doing the stuff that's close to my heart. 🙏🏼💚🧠

It's a postcode lottery-no accountability for monies granted... services work Mon-Fri, 9-5 are useless to families as they're there 24/7, 365 days a year, unpaid. We CAN all work together and make a difference.

They are still getting paid to provide a service that they aren't providing...but you are providing a service and not getting paid 🤔🤔 Is it my imagination or is something not quite right???

900 deaths in 9 months, by the looks of things, nitizine was present in 9 deaths, we are going to see record numbers in DRD’s in the next couple of years if we don’t treat this as an emergency, start funding detox centres, rehabs along with more feet on the ground at the coalface
