@AbbyShupe @juliannegrasso I second this. I found a time of day (unfortunately 7:30–8:30am) that I knew I was always free and made sure I showed up to write at least for that time. Some days I could come back to it and add more time later, but most days it was just that one hour.

@juliannegrasso The last ones I bought were a brand called Hoptop on Amazon. They don't last forever but they're the best I've found so far.

@juliannegrasso But also, regardless of the shoe, I recommend those padded heel cushion stickers to prevent blisters.

@juliannegrasso I recently bought two pairs of non-clog Danskos and they're the best, most comfortable dress shoes I've ever owned. It looks like they make a wedge loafer, too!
