2023 was one of the toughest phases of my life, my first real setback. I found myself pushed into B.Tech, stepping into a path that I never wanted. And see, today I’m building my first project(sharing soon) in the very space I once resisted. Funny how life works!

5/90 Heard of Instagram threads right? Is it in that installed but unused” zone? Most people don’t really use Threads. They download it, post a few times… and disappear. Let me break it down...

It’s not for viral threads, aggressive growth hacks.. The real play? Meta is betting on attention shift. If text-based conversations move away from X, Threads is already positioned to capture it. So the platform isn’t failing, it's just early.. What do you think about it?

Also, there’s no clear “use-case identity” yet. X = news + opinions Instagram = lifestyle + visuals Threads = ??? And when a platform lacks identity, users don’t stick. It’s intentionally less polished. People do use it but not like they use other platforms.

@Trives_ if its more about personal growth, something about purpose, and chasing your dreams, I’d recommend reading The Alchemist.

Anyone could recommend good books(personal growth ones)to read?

I genuinely don’t get the whole “Drop a reply, let’s connect ” or “I’ll help you reach 99+ followers” trend. Like… what are we actually building here? Is it real connection or just inflated numbers? And I mean what's the agenda behind doing this? Can anyone explain..

I didn’t expect the beginning to feel like this. Nothing is clear.. Everything feels slow, seems messy, no gains, no growth.. no momentum and way too frustrating. They call this beginner's hell. If you’ve ever been here and made it through How did you push past this phase?

@Truly_sam9 I get it! I do the same but it feels so heavy sometimes.. but anyways, giving up was never an option.

I’m trying something new, learning business concepts & simplifying them in my own words every day. The goal is simple: if I can’t explain it simply, I don’t really understand it yet so I started breaking things down in my own way and writing them like I would explain to a friend.

Had my Operations Research exam . The subject deals mostly with business management stuff. Honestly, subjects like these feel frustrating at times coz they’re trying to teach us “business decisions” through heavy theory and math with the aim that we'll ace the practical side too.

Small steps like these make business language feel less “foreign” and more intuitive over time. Stay tuned!

We talked about revenue but there is also a term Annual Recurring Revenue which is a different concept. Revenue is all the money coming in from sales and ARR: "Guaranteed Yearly income" is the money a business is sure it will get every year from subscriptions or repeat customers

Shark Tank was one of my favourite shows I used to watch. But I used to get tangled between so many business terms they threw around. With time, reading and repetition built some understanding. Yet I realized, I was only familiar with the words, not confident in them.
