सबसे क्रूर सजा दिए जाने का जो मामला दुनिया के सामने आया था, वो ईरान की 16 वर्षीय मासूम लड़की अतीफेह रजबी सहलीह का मामला है. और लोग कहते हैं इसी लड़की का श्राप ईरान को लगा है क्योंकि इस लड़की के फांसी के बाद से ईरान में कभी शांति नहीं रही जब वह पांच साल की थी, तब एक कार दुर्घटना में अतेफे की मां की मृत्यु हो गई। बताया जाता है कि कुछ देर बाद उसका छोटा भाई नदी में डूब गया था। वह अपने वृद्ध दादा-दादी के साथ रहती थी। उसकी जिंदगी का असली बुरा दौर तो तब शुरू हुआ जब एक 51 वर्ष के रीटायर्ड गॉर्ड अली दराबी की उस पर बुरी नजर पड़ी। 51 वर्ष के अली ने 15-16 साल की इस मासुम लड़की के साथ बलात्कार किया! एक या दो बार नहीं, बल्कि सैकड़ो बार!! दरअसल रजबी के परिवार को मजदूरी जैसे कामो की वजह से सारा दिन घर से बहार रहना पड़ता था। उसी दौरान अली दराबी उसे अपनी हैवानियत का शिकार बनता था। उसने रजबी को बुरी तरह धमका दिया था कि अगर उसने किसी से कुछ भी कहा तो उसे और उसके परिवार को मार डालेगा। डरी सहमी रजबी घुट-घुट कर जीती रही और ये दरिंदा उस मासूम बच्ची को अपनी हैवानियत का शिकार बनता रहा। यह सिलसिला पुरे तीन साल तक चलता रहा!!! कहा जाता है कि रजबी ने फिर भी अपने घर वालो को इस बारे में बताने की कोशिश की थी लेकिन उनने उसे ही फटकार के चुप करा दिया। लेकिन जब धीरे-धीरे इस दरिंदे की हैवानियत हद से ज्यादा बढ़ने लगी तब रजबी के पिता ने परिवार के लाख आग्रह के बाद पुलिस को इस बात की सुचना दी। हमारे कुछ बुद्धिजीवी जिस खाड़ी देश की सम्पनता का गुणगान करते नहीं थकते वहां का कानून कैसा है पुलिस ने इस बात की खबर लगते ही आरोपी के बजाये पीड़िता (रजबी) को ही थाने बुला कर उससे कड़ी पूछताछ की, और उसे वहीँ Crimes against chastity के आरोप में गिरफ्तार कर लिया। दरअसल इस्लामिक शरिया कानून के अनुसार, Crimes against chastity, सतित्वता (virginity) के उल्लंघन और यौन व्यवहार से संबंधित अपराध होता है, जिसमे गैर मर्द से किसी भी तरह के सम्बन्ध बनने पर महिला को ही सजा दी जाती है जब तक वो यह साबित न कर सके की उसने आरोपी को सम्बन्ध बनाने के लिए लालहित नहीं किया था!! इस वजह से रजबी को सलाखों के पीछे डाल दिया गया. यहाँ उसे अली से तो छुटकारा मिला, लेकिन दरिंदगी से नहीं। जी हाँ, मीडिया रिपोर्ट्स के अनुसार रजबी को थाने में भी बेहद प्रताड़ित (टॉर्चर) किया जाता था और कई पुलिस वाले बारी-बारी से उसका दुष्कर्म भी करते थे। काफी मशक्कत के बाद जब रजबी की दादी को उससे मिलने की इजाजत दी गई तो रिज्बी ने बताया कभी कभी तो उसके साथ इतनी दरिंदगी की जाती है कि वो अपने पैरो पर खड़ी भी नहीं हो पाती। उस दर्द कि वजह से उसे चलने के लिए भी अपने चारो हाथ-पैर के सहारे ही चलना पड़ता था। अब अगर आपमें जरा भी मानवता होगी तो मै दावे के साथ कह सकता हु कि ये सब सुन के आपके भी रोंगटे खड़े हो गए होंगे… लेकिन अभी थोड़ी और हिम्मत रखिये, क्योकि इस सिस्टम का अभी एक और कांड उजागर होना बाकी है। लेकिन कोर्ट में आरोपी और पुलिस ने मिलकर ऐसी-ऐसी दलीले दी की मामला रजबी के ही खिलाफ जाने लगा। फिर ऊपर से सरिया कानून!! जज हाजी रेजाई (Haji Rezai) उल्टा रजबी पर ही सजाये सुनाने लगा। जब अतीफा रजबी को एहसास हुआ कि वह अपना केस हार रही है, तो उसने अपनी सफाई देने के लिए जल्दबाजी में अपने चेहरे से हिजाब (बुर्का) को उठा लिया और कहा कि अदालत को उसे नहीं बल्कि अली दरबी को दंडित करना चाहिए। लेकिन उस अक्ल के अंधे जज ने हिजाब हटाने को अदालत का घोर अपमान बताते हुए रजबी को उम्र कैद की सजा सुना दी। यह सुन रिज्बी गुस्से में लाल हो गई, और होती भी क्यों न, इतना अन्याय झेलने के बाद भी उसे इन्साफ देने के बजाये वापस उस नर्क में जाने का जो कहा जा रहा था। उसे सिर्फ वो दर्दनाक पल याद आ रहे होंगे इसलिए उसने विरोध में अपनी जूती निकाल कर जज की ओर फेक दी। इससे जज हाजी रेजाई इतना बौखला गया की उसने तुरंत रिज्बी को फांसी की सजा सुना दी। 15 अगस्त 2004 को ईरान के नेका में उसे एक क्रेन से लटका कर सरेआम फांसी दी गई। बीबीसी के मुताबिक, सुप्रीम कोर्ट ऑफ अपील में पेश किए गए दस्तावेजों में उनकी उम्र 22 साल बताई गई है, लेकिन उनके जन्म प्रमाण पत्र और मृत्यु प्रमाण पत्र में कहा गया है कि वह 16 साल की थीं। ये कैसा न्याय है? ये कैसा कानून है? क्या यही है मुस्लिम बहुयाद वाले देशों में मुस्लिम महिलाओं की जिंदगी की असली तस्वीर? और ये तो सिर्फ एक ऐसा मामला है जो ईरान से बाहर की दुनिया तक पहुंच पाया। ईरान, ईराक, अफगानिस्तान, पाकिस्तान, उज़्बेकिस्तान और न जाने ऐसे कितने इस्तान है जहाँ ऐसे क्रूर कानून की वजह से कितनी निर्दोष बालिकाएं मौत के घाट उतार दी जाती होगी।।
